A Year of Holiday Pets

Good afternoon! 
I am still frozen in. My front yard and drive are a ski hill and my home is surrounded by moguls of solid ice sleet pellets that rolled off of the roof. Starving birds are flocking here for sunflower seeds. I have to refill the water frequently because it keeps freezing. I saw a woodpecker take a piece of bread before my hubby went out this morning. I am almost out of meal worms for the wrens on the porch. When there are none left on the plate one will land on the wheelbarrow by the window and squawk for attention.

Short and sweet….there are two more polls to answer before Monday. I’m in Texas, where we are having a mini ice age over the next few days. Hopefully we do not lose power!  So far we have only a thin layer of sleet and ice. I am west of Dallas, so I think we are missing the worst of it. ❄️☃️🌨️❄️⛄️ My poor birds are searching for unfrozen water. They haven’t found the stuff I put close to the house yet (that I can change without breaking a leg.)
